I really like Jules from his proper, well-mannered ways. But the farther they go into the hidden temple, the more they learn about the Undying… there is more to the temple than advanced technology, and the discovery could change the future of Earth forever. Their paths collide, and they have no choice but to work together to find a way off the planet. He is a scholar with a thirst for knowledge. She is a scavenger in desperate need of money. There is technology that the Undying left behind on Gaia, and Jules is determined to find it. While Jules has also arrived on Gaia to explore an unknown temple that could contain a wealth of information that could change the future of Earth. Mia landed into Gaia to smuggle artifacts in order to bring back to Earth and sell. It was such an awesome first meeting between these two characters. It begins with both characters already on this new world that they have sneaked off to to explore for something.
Jules is seventeen and the son of a prominent authority on the Undying – the previous inhabitants of Gaia. Mia is a sixteen-year-old girl, looking for a fortune in treasure on the alien planet of Gaia. The story is told from two points of view: Amelia (or Mia), and Jules. If you loved These Broken Stars, then there’s a good chance you’ll also enjoy Unearthed. Unearthed is the first in a new series from Meagan Spooner and Amie Kaufman, authors of the Starbound Trilogy as well as other bestsellers. We will tell our story to the stars – we will be Undying.
